Second Pride

In 2023, Second Pride raised funds for both It Gets Better and the LGBTQ Freedom Fund, with the total raised being split down the middle. Since that time we have done our best to get them verified in the manner that Tilia requires to process donations. Unfortunately, they have not followed through and have stopped responding to repeated efforts we make to contact them. The Board has unanimously reached the decision that the donation amount of approximately $4,500 raised for them will instead be sent to It Gets Better.

The amount of information and sheer paperwork that Tilia requires would make anyone skeptical of the process and that is very likely what happened here. Interestingly, LGBTQFF did receive donations from us in the past, but that was before Tilia changed the process for the worse.

The amount will be included in the donation that will be sent to It Gets Better from the 2025-2026 season (last season).
